stage@leeds Autumn 2017 programme announced
In Autumn 2017 stage@leeds theatre continues its commitment to finding, supporting and promoting the best in contemporary performance.
This season kicks off with the folk tinged beauty ‘Bare Skin on Briny Waters’, a brave and stirring story from Hull-based new writing company Bellow Theatre.
In October the theatre will also host two free interactive installations as part of the University’s participation in Leeds-wide Light Night activities. Award winning immersive artist David Shearing returns to Stage One for two nights in November with ‘Black Rock’, a new commission inspired by the exploits of climbing legend Johnny Dawes.
There will also be usual medley of creativity that includes new writing, immersive theatre and writing from Euripides to Jez Butterworth.
Autumn 2017 also sees us welcome a new associate artist, Forget About the Dog.
