Frantic Assembly appoints alumni Peter Holland as new Producer
Internationally renowned theatre company Frantic Assembly has appointed Peter Holland as its new Producer. Holland joins Frantic Assembly from his role as Producer at The Lyric Hammersmith and will take up his post in May 2018.
Holland graduated from the School in 2007 where he had a great interest in all aspects of theatre production taking on marketing, producer and writing credits alongside his own performing roles.
In 2010 Peter Holland joined Theatre rights agency Josef Weinberger, the British partner of Music Theatre International heading up the team for the Musical Theatre Library.
Peter later became the General Manager of The Birmingham Stage Company delivering over twenty productions including numerous Horrible Histories titles across the UK, internationally including New York, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
Peter joined the Lyric Hammersmith shortly before the building reopened following the £20 million pound Capital Build project and has produced work including Tipping the Velvet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Terror, as well as their popular annual pantomime, Aladdin and Jack and the Beanstalk. Whilst working at the Lyric he has led on international tours to Australia, Dublin and Hong Kong. Prior to the Lyric Peter worked at The Birmingham Stage Company (London) for four years working on West End, National and International touring productions of titles including James and the Giant Peach, Horrible Histories, Skellig and David Walliams’s Olivier Award nominated Gangsta Granny.
