Student success at Leeds for Life Citizenship Awards 2018

Huge congratulations to BA English and Comparative Literature student Laura Manzi, who has received the Outstanding Achievement Award for her involvement in Writing Back and other projects.

The Citizenship Awards celebrate outstanding student achievements in the areas of voluntary work and community engagement. They are open to students from across the University, and students from our Faculty have won or been nominated in many award categories - you can read the full list here.

Laura won the award for her involvement in various University projects, including Writing Back and the University’s Intercultural Ambassadors programme. She is pictured here with her Writing Back pen pal, Dorothy. Many congratulations to Laura on her fantastic achievement.
