Alumni awarded Research Fellowship from the Society for Musicology

School of Music alumni Dr Anne Stanyon, who completed her research degree in 2017, has been awarded a Research Fellowship from the Society for Musicology in Ireland.

The Research Fellowship will enable Dr Stanyon to work on her book, Arthur Sullivan: A Working Life, forming part of a wider body of research into Sir Arthur Sullivan’s role as a composer.

During her research degree at the School of Music, Dr Stanyon was supervised by Professors Derek Scott and Michael Allis.
