On Thursday 19 May 2022, the Centre for Cultural Value will partner with Culture Commons to host an event in the UK Parliament.
Professor Ben Walmsley, Director at the Centre for Cultural Value, will be joined by Lord Parkinson, Minister for the Arts, senior officials, and sector representatives to share a series of 12 policy recommendations informed by the Centre’s unique findings in the Culture in Crisis report. The recommendations seek to support the rebuilding of the UK’s creative and cultural sectors in the wake of the devastating impact of Covid-19.
This high-level event is part of the Centre for Cultural Value’s wider efforts to ensure that policy is always evidence led and supports decision makers at local and national levels to safeguard and enhance the creative and cultural life of the nation.
