Alumna Dana Al-abduljabbar wins Culture and Creativity Award at The British Council Study UK Alumni Awards 2022

Dana Al-abduljabbar, who graduated from BA Graphic and Communication Design in 2016, has been announced as the winner of the Culture and Creativity Award at The British Council Study UK Alumni Awards 2022.

The awards celebrate outstanding alumni around the world who are making contributions in the fields of science and sustainability; culture and creativity; social action; and business and innovation.

Dana is a professional Qatari graphic communication designer, artist, photographer, and short film producer. Her aim is to enhance her country's culture and heritage in a modern way through art and design.

Studying in the UK influenced Dana by encouraging her to develop her work to reach a wider audience, resulting in her work being published in newspapers, exhibited in local and international exhibitions and also covered on televsion.

Dana said:

It is a huge honor for me to win this award when the competition has been so incredible. I am deeply honored for this recognition of my work. It means a lot to me.
