Black History Month
Running throughout October, Black History Month provides an opportunity to learn, acknowledge and celebrate Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) cultures.
Leeds11 – the BAME staff network – together with partners and friends have organised a series of free events based on this year’s theme of ‘Time for Change: Actions Not Words’, featuring talks, podcasts, lectures, film screenings and more.
Parkinson Building will also be lit up red, yellow and green throughout October to further highlight the programme.
