New online course in International Fashion Marketing and Design Management

The University of Leeds has launched the latest in its line-up of Fully Online Education degrees – an MA / Postgraduate Certificate in International Fashion Marketing and Design Management.

This online course is aimed at professionals (either early career or more experienced), looking to deepen their knowledge and skills in this area.

Our Masters / Postgraduate Certificate is one of the very few online courses that integrates the two areas of fashion marketing and design management, drawing on expertise from leading academics in the School of Design.

Students can choose from either the Masters pathway or the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) pathway and will study a range of modules to learn how to lead the delivery of global design strategies and drive brand innovation and business solutions.

Dr Bruce Carnie, Programme Lead, said: “Alongside developing fashion marketing skills students will learn how design management can be used to audit and critically evaluate the phases of the fashion value chain from fibre to textiles to finished garments, through to the customer. These are highly sought-after skills in the fashion industry to help individuals progress as a manager and leader in this important business sector in the global economy.”

With multiple start dates throughout the academic year and a 100% online delivery mode, students can manage their learning around existing work and life commitments.

Professor Maria Lonsdale, Head of the School of Design, said:

We’re really proud to be the first School in the Faculty to be delivering a fully online postgraduate course with Pearson. This course will help to diversify our portfolio and provides a brilliant opportunity for students from across the world to study with us.
