Danny Burns and Jo Howard: In Conversation with Jade French

Join us for this in-conversation event with Professor Danny Burns, Dr Jo Howard and Dr Jade French, organised by the Participation and Social Practice Research Group.

Danny Burns and Jo Howard are widely recognised for their pioneering approaches in participatory and systemic action research.

This event warmly welcomes Burns and Howard to the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, where they will discuss their work in dialogue with UKRI Future Leaders Fellow, Jade French.

Chaired by Helen Graham, this discussion will cover the development of systemic action research over the past 20 years since the publication of Systemic Action Research: A Strategy for Whole System Change (2007).

They will also reflect on their visit to the University of Leeds working with the fellowship team and how their work can intersect with inclusive arts practice, via Inclusive Art for Wicked Problems: Innovating Creative Methods for Systems Change with Learning Disabled Artists and Their Facilitators.
