Profile

I work in social philosophy of language, social epistemology, social metaphysics, and the philosophy of technology, with interests also in the philosophies of the social and cognitive sciences. My recent projects takes up questions about social movements, political propaganda, the effects of synthetic media on mass mobilization, and our practices of directing speech at persons, at groups, and at machines.

I completed by PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in 2018. From 2018-2026 I was Assistant Professor at Northwestern University. I grew up in Canada.
