Profile
In my 23 years working in the University I have taught different levels, specialities and I have been resposible for certain areas and projects.
I teach elective modules in Spanish from ab-initio to Upper Intermediate level. I am also Co-ordinator of the Pre-Christmas Project (RESS) run in conjunction with the School of Medicine, which also involves teaching beginners group. Also I am co-ordinator of Students without Borders (SWB) a programme for Medical, Dentistry and Healthcare students, this is an advance course with a specific focus on medical vocabulary, and contexts
Qualifications
- A degree in Education (BA) from Peru
- CTEL diploma (Certificate in Teaching European Language) from Trinity All Saints University and Leeds Metropolitan University.
- Diploma 1 Sign Language

- GCSE in Photography
- French Intermediate Level

- Working as specialist role co-ordinator to review levels 0 and 1 in terms of syllabus, assessment, topics and learning outcomes
- Teaching Spanish at GCSE and A level in colleges in Leeds
- I enjoy most about teaching is adapting my teaching methods, passing on my knowledge and giving skills that will permanently be theirs.
