Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures rank 51st in world

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures at Leeds has been ranked 51st in the world by the QS World Rankings by Subject 2018.

This new ranking - which is up nine places from last year - marks another international success for our Faculty. The University of Leeds as a whole has also achieved 70th place this year in the QS Graduate Employability Rankings.

These rankings are published annually and provide a globally-respected assessment of how the world's leading higher education institutions are performing. The rankings are calculated based on global surveys of academics, graduate employers, and research expertise, and can be further broken down into five broad subject areas and 48 specific subjects.

Special congratulations go to the School of English (35th place) and the School of Media and Communication (39th place), as well as to our colleagues in history, modern languages and philosophy whose subjects are ranked in the top 100.
