Two New Appointments in Philosophy

Leeds Philosophy is delighted to report that Dr Jessica Isserow and Dr Jessica Keiser have been appointed as Lecturers starting during academic year 2018/19.

Increasing Our Strengths in Normative Theory and Philosophy of Language
Jessica ('Jess') Isserow specializes in moral philosophy, with particular interests in metanormative theory and moral psychology. She received her PhD in January 2018 from Australian National University, where she is currently a postdoctoral research fellow.

Jessica Keiser works at the intersection of philosophy of language, metaphysics, and social/political philosophy, with a particular focus on reducing linguistic phenomena to facts about the mental states and actions of language users. She received her PhD in December 2017 from Yale University, and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Australian National University.
