HPS Visitor's Day

The HPS Visitors' Day is a chance to meet our Visiting Fellows, and hear about their research.

The HPS Visitors’ Day, which will take place on Wednesday 14 February in Baines BG36 from 3 to 4.30pm, followed by a wine reception from 4.30 to 5.30pm. A full program with a list of speakers will follow in due course.

We are also very happy to announce that as part of the Visitors’ Day, we will be celebrating the publication of Dr Alan Mackintosh’s book The Patent Medicines Industry in Georgian England. Alan received his PhD from Leeds and was supervised in the Centre for HPS, and he is currently one of our Visiting Fellows. Alan will give an introduction to the book at the beginning of the wine reception (just after 4.30pm), and there will be flyers and copies of the book available for perusal.
