New Historical Perspectives on Ageing and the Life Course

Interdisciplinary conference on ageing and life course.

Registration is now open for this interdisciplinary conference which will take place at Weetwood Hall, Leeds, on 19 and 20 March 2018. The two-day event will bring together scholars from across the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA to share new perspectives on the role and value of historical approaches to ageing across disciplines in the humanities and the social sciences.

The event is being organised by Dr James Stark and Dr Catherine Oakley as part of the Arts and Humanities Research Council-funded project “Endless Possibilities of Rejuvenation: Defying Ageing, Defining Youth in Britain, 1919-1948”, based at HPS Leeds.
