Profile
I am an industry practitioner, lecturer and researcher specialising in heritage and 3D technologies. I have been working in the creative sector since 2015, where I have held curatorial and digital postions in local and national museums and galleries. In 2016 I founded Curator, Designer, Maker – an arts practice intiative working with musuems and galleries across the UK to design and create 3D digital interactives for curatorial, access and engagement and education purposes.
In my role as Lecturer in Digital Creavity, I teach across the MA Culture, Creativity and Entrepreneurship, MA Global Performance and Cultural Industries and BA Global Creative Industries courses. I am interested in exploring the use digital tools and technologies to explore creative ideas, applying different approaches, and finding innovative solulutions to both industry and research problems.
I also hold management positions with in the school as School Digital Education Academic Lead and School Academic Personal Tutoring Lead. In 2020 I gained my Fellowship to the Higher Education Academy
I completed a practice based PhD at Sheffield Hallam University, where using curatorial and design based methods I explored how and why 3D printing effects the museum.
