Join us for a discussion on how heritage past and present, across Shanghai and Leeds/Yorkshire, are bringing communities together in the digital era.
Following the online exhibition hosted by Leeds Industrial Museum in February, Song of the Female Textile Workers - Leeds Museums & Galleries, this event is to discuss your views on how heritage past and present, across Shanghai and Leeds/Yorkshire, are bringing communities together in the digital era. As the project now moves forward to the creation of a new performance, we will also be discussing challenges and opportunities of online creation: censorship, digital compatibility and artistic creativity.
The event will be hosted jointly by Dr. Haili Ma, Principal Investigator of the project at University of Leeds, Chris Sharp, Community Officer at Leeds Industrial Museum and Steve Ansell, Artistic Director at stage@Leeds.
The discussion event is free to all who wish to join us and will be held online using Zoom.
