The third annual Drama Teachers conference marks the School of Performance and Cultural Industries' ongoing commitment to arts education.
Led by the School of Performance and Cultural Industries the conference brings together drama teachers from across the region, providing important network opportunities and a chance for teachers to re-energise their own practice. The School’s research and unique specialisms in applied theatre and theatre in education make it the perfect host for a conference with education at its heart.
This year's conference will be delivered in association with Leeds Playhouse, offering a variety of interactive sessions devised and delivered by our partners and research and teaching staff from the School of Performance and Cultural Industries.
In addition to the this year's conference the School of Performance has also launched the new Postgraduate Certificate in Developing Teachers’ Research and Practice for professional drama teachers who want to re-vitalise their creative practice and develop advanced research skills in a University context.
