Profile
I completed my PhD in the School of History at Leeds in February 2024. I am now Digital Engagement Fellow on the AHRC-funded project ‘Hematopolitics’. In my role as DEF, I am in charge of maintaining the project website, social media, and communication avenues. I am also curator of the digital exhibition ‘“It’s in our blood”: Identity, Blood Donation, and Transfusion’ in collaboration with Thackray Museum of Medicine in Leeds. Alongside my role as DEF, I am 2024-5 Postdoctoral Fellow for the Society for Renaissance Studies. My project, ‘Cancer, Identity, and the Senses in Early Modern England, c.1583-1699’, examines the significance of a cancer diagnosis on identity in the past.
