Dr Rodríguez-Ramírez (currently a Visiting Research Fellow in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies) is a writer and Associate Professor in the Department of Spanish and Modern Languages at the Universidad del Turabo, Puerto Rico. His research interests are in the fields of Visual Culture, Gender Studies, Performance Theory and Literary Theory in Contemporary Latin American and Hispanic Caribbean Literature and Culture. He has published three books: Trazos (2012), Entre auges y fatigas (2014) and La perpetua amenaza de la lluvia (2016).
