Amy Sackville in conversation

International Writers at Leeds presents novelist and University of Leeds alumna Amy Sackville, in conversation with Hayley O'Kell.

Amy's first book "Still Point", won the 2010 John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, was longlisted for the Orange Prize, and shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize and the Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award. Her second, "Orkney", won a Somerset Maugham Award. More recently, "Painter to the King", about the painter Diego Velázquez and the court of Philip IV of Spain, was published by Granta Books in 2018.
