Remembrance exhibition at Leeds Abbey House
As part of the Living with Dying project, historians Dr Laura King and Dr Jessica Hammett have collaborated with Abbey House Museum to put together a new exhibition.
How have we chosen to remember those close to us in the past? How important are objects, places and actions in helping us tell personal stories today about those we have lost? This new display, co-curated with Abbey House Museum and the University of Leeds, reflects on how commemoration has changed since the Victorian era and features contributions from people in contemporary Leeds.
The launch date for the exhibition is Saturday 3 March and will run until December 2018.
