Profile

My doctoral project explores gesture as phenomena that expresses agency within and through audiovisual ‘blackboxed’ technologies. The thesis proposes an understanding of gesture as an endurance of a prosthetic becoming that is revealed within the intermedial of art that imagines its own material obsolescence.

I am a Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University and Associate Lecturer at University of The Arts London where I convene the Moving-Image Research Group based at Camberwell College of Arts.
