Becoming After is about shifting borders and categories; how they fall apart, how they change, and what exists in between them.
The multi-disciplinary works within Becoming After are self-reflective; exploring our moment in history, the nature of the materials we use, our delicate internal landscapes, positions and relationships, and how we relate to the world around us.
Graduating artists from the MA Fine Art course at the University of Leeds pose the question: what happens between ‘becoming’ and ‘after’?
The exhibition covers a variety of spaces across the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies, including our spacious art studios and Student Common Room.
