Spiders From Mars - Woody Woodmansey's life with David Bowie

Blackwell's Leeds and the School of English are proud to host an evening with David Bowie's legendary drummer.

Woody Woodmansey played drums on four seminal David Bowie albums: The Man Who Sold the World, Hunky Dory, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars and Aladdin Sane.

The evening will consist of a conversation with senior lecturer Dr Denis Flannery, followed by a signing of Woodmansey’s 2016 book, Spider From Mars: My Life With Bowie.

Join us for what will be an amazing insight into Bowie's most creative period and Woody's extraordinary career in the rock industry.
