Leeds College of Music SU Concert Band
To celebrate renowned composer Leonard Bernstein’s centenary year, Leeds College of Music SU Concert Band and The University of Leeds School of Music present an evening of music and film. The 90-minute programme will include music by Bernstein, Gershwin, John Williams, Claude-Michel Schönberg, and Jerry Bock. The evening concludes with the screening, in full, of Director, Elia Kazan’s 1954 classic, On the Waterfront. Marlon Brando stars and Bernstein’s Oscar-nominated score shines in this much-heralded Hollywood classic.
