Emily Bunch: Life after my Graduate Fashion Week win

Emily Bunch, BA Fashion Design graduate and winner of the Karen Millen Portfolio Award 2016, gives Graduate Fashion Week the low down on what she’s been up to since her well deserved win.

Since receiving the award, Emily has started the Protégé scheme at Karen Millen’s office in London, working alongside the design team and has also been approached by other companies who spotted her at GFW about potential job openings. Speaking to GFW week about her win Emily said:Emily Bunch
“Being named the Karen Millen Portfolio Award winner is a huge personal achievement; to be selected from all of the showcased talent at this year’s GFW is such a compliment and I couldn’t be more pleased to have been chosen for the award.”

Every year the School of Design showcases student work at London Graduate Fashion Week and has a strong track record in the annual event – fielding a runner-up for the Portfolio Award last year, and a winner in 2014.

The stand also offers up an amazing opportunity for students to impress a host of industry experts.
