World-leading manufacturer of medical grade biomaterials, Collagen Solutions has acknowledged School of Design research into the vivo performance of a versatile collagen system for chronic wound care.

The research translated insights from previous in vitro models and shows that customisable collagen systems enabled accelerated healing compared to a commercially available polyurethane foam dressing. Collagen Solutions remarked that the research showed great promise for personalised wound care applications.
