Voicing Hidden Histories: a two day conference on Participatory Arts and Activist Film-making.  

Part of the 31st Leeds International Film Festival 

Two full days of seminars, screenings, expert panels and discussion exploring the role of film and digital media in participatory arts and activism activities at a local, national and global scale. Hear from a range of practitioners, academics and creative activists from Leeds and across the world.

Day 2: Film and Activism Symposium

A day of screenings, panels and discussion bringing together activist filmmakers from across the UK and beyond. Working with the Radical Film Network, this event seeks to ask why and how we make activist films, from conception to dissemination, and asks what we can learn from each other to keep producing change.
