Partnership Award success with "School of the Year" win

Philosophy, Religion and History of Science celebrates winning the School of the Year award as well as the recognition of two of our students at the Arts, Humanities and Cultures Partnership Awards.

The School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science is delighted to celebrate winning awards at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures (AHC) Partnership Awards, which is part of the larger Leeds Partnership Awards organised by Leeds University Union.

The awards recognise the wonderful work of our students and colleagues in academia, the Student Education Service (SES) and Management and Academic Support Service (MASS), and the contributions that all members of our community make to an exceptional learning experience at Leeds. 

At the AHC Partnership Awards, the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science won the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures School of the Year award. 

Our students Tauheed Arshad and Charlie Aldous were also recognised by winning the Outstanding Student award and the Student Academic Rep award. 

I’m absolutely delighted that the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science has won the School of the Year award at the 2023 Faculty Partnership awards. We won out because of the quality of nominations received from our students. This is testament to the great work we are doing, in partnership with them, that continues to make the School a really terrific place to study.
