Dr Adam Cathcart has been providing commentary of the historic meeting between Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump.
In the School of History, we are have academic staff who are leaders in their field and are actively researching alongside their teaching.
Recently Dr Adam Cathcart, lecturer in Chinese History has featured in national and international press providing analysis of the Kim Jong-Un and Donald Trump summit. Dr Cathcart's research areas include China-North Korea relations, Sino-Japanese relations and East-West Cultural Relations.
In the past week he has appeared across the BBC including BBC breakfast, BBC 5 live and BBC Radio Leeds. He has also provided commentary for Reuters and The Telegraph.
This is just one example of the important role our academic staff play in contributing to international research in History. Our research influences our teaching, making the School of History an exciting place to study at all levels.
