School signs up to the British Philosophical Association (BPA) guidelines for responsible air travel
The School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science has recently signed up to the British Philosophical Association (BPA) guidelines for environmentally responsible air travel.
Whilst the University has its own travel guidelines in place, the School has shown an additional commitment to the environment and reducing unnecessary air travel by signing up to the BPA guidelines. These guidelines for environmentally responsible university business travel are intended to reduce overall air travel amongst the community of philosophers working in the UK.
The School has recently made other moves to a more sustainable future, for example by having vegetarian catering as a default for functions and also embracing the reduction in printed materials which has been rolled out across the University.
