Clothworker's Excellence Scholarship
The School of Design is awarding four scholarships of £7,500 to undergraduate students on our Fashion Technology course.
The scholarships are awarded in partnership with the Clothworkers' Company which was one of the founders of the University of Leeds and still remains a close partner. The company was founded in 1529 and was originally set up to promote cloth-finishing in the City of London. Today it aims to support the development of the textile industry in the UK.
The BA Fashion Technology is an exciting course, developed in consultation with leading industry professionals. It provides students with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chains within the fashion industry whilst developing the skills to manage product development from selecting materials to managing manufacturing processes and conducting product analysis.
All students who apply for the course will be considered for this scholarship which will be awarded as £2,500 for each year of the three years of study. You can find out more on the course page.
