FRESH! – exhibition and open studios

Please join us for FRESH! – this year's Fine Art Level 1 Project Space exhibition and open studios. For one afternoon only!

Level 1 artists on the BA Fine Art, BA Fine Art with Contemporary Cultural Theory and BA Fine Art with History of Art courses will show new work and work in progress that has emerged through the studio research groups they formed this semester.

On the ground floor in Project Space, there will be a single work by each artist. Upstairs on the second floor, the Level 1 studios will be open.

These emerging artists have been developing artworks and material methods that responsive to the cultural complexities that art is navigating today, brought together by interests in:

• the social role of the artist
• the capacity of figuration and portraiture today
• new ideas concerning nature
• material experiments in form, colour and pattern
• addressing the body, identity and femininity.
