- Location: Off-campus

- Until: Saturday 21 June 2025

Curated by Sarah Cole, an MA student in Art Gallery and Museum Studies, this new exhibition at Northlight Arts Centre in Leeds explores the creative power of midlife through the lens of menopause.
Drawing on feminist scholarship and deeply personal experiences, the exhibition brings together a range of artists whose works explore identity, change, and resilience. Themes include the evolving dynamics of motherhood, intergenerational knowledge between women, the impact of medical misrepresentation and the emotional aftermath of trauma.
From intimate mixed-media works to research-informed installations, each piece contributes to a wider conversation about visibility, voice and valuing women’s lived experiences in midlife and beyond.
Invisible No More is curated by Sarah Cole, an MA student in Art Gallery and Museum Studies at the University of Leeds.
