Cassie Ulph

Profile

I joined the University of Leeds as the Digital Development Officer for the Digital Creativity and Cultures Hub in 2023 and was appointed Digital Development Manager in 2024. I support the development of academic projects, providing digital support and training for researchers, and specialist advice in digital humanities methods.

Prior to this I worked as a postdoctoral researcher on a number of UKRI-funded projects, most recently The Mary Hamilton Papers, and as a Lecturer in English Literature at Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln.

Research interests

My research interests include:

  • The application of computational and data-driven methodologies in humanities research
  • Digital editing
  • Eighteenth-century and Romantic-period women’s writing

Student education

I am responsible for the DCCH’s undergraduate internship programme, for which I also act as a project mentor.
