I started my career at the University of Leeds as an exchange student, visiting from Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts. Having gained my BA and BMus degrees from Leeds, and my piano teaching diploma from the Royal College of Music, and after a short spell restoring early keyboard instruments, I returned to the University to teach piano and work on educational development projects.  My roles have included Study Abroad Tutor, Performance Coordinator, instrumental/vocal teaching coordinator, and module leader (including year abroad modules, Level 1 Performance, Ensemble, and MMus Applied Performance). I have also acted as Student:Staff Forum Chair, BMus programme leader, Deputy and Director of Student Education, International Coordinator and Admissions Tutor. I retired from the University on 30 June 2021; please contact if you have any questions.
