A Midnight Hop: Light Night Leeds 2025

Light Night Leeds 2025 includes a commissioned artwork by fine art graduate Anya Thompson projected onto the Michael Sadler Building at the University of Leeds.

Journey through an enchanting dreamlike landscape of glowing rabbits darting across a starry night sky.

A Midnight Hop transforms familiar university architecture into a magical walkway inspired by the rabbits that inhabit the University of Leeds campus. Celebrate the beauty of local wildlife and rediscover wonder in your own surroundings – a playful, family-friendly adventure for all ages.

This joyful installation is a shadow-based light artwork by BA Fine Art graduate Anya Thompson (University of Leeds , 2025) whose practice celebrates the natural world and invites people of all ages to slow down, look closer and embrace curiosity in their daily environment.
