Abinav Bhattachan wins place on student leadership programme in South Korea

BA Digital Media student, Abinav Bhattachan, has gained a place on the University's student leadership programme in South Korea.

Abinav (pictured second from the left) is one of only 14 undergraduate students at the University of Leeds to get the opportunity to travel to South Korea in June 2019 on the Leeds to South Korea student leadership programme.

The programme has been developed by Common Purpose, a leadership development organisation that specialises in cross-boundary leadership. It combines theory, innovative practice and hands-on experience with seven days of intensive workshops and events.

Students will learn from business leaders, academics and fellow students and gain international experience that will provide a real differentiator in the competitive graduate jobs market.

They will be tweeting about their experiences in South Korea using the hashtag #GlobalLeaders and #LeedstoSK.
