IHP 50th Anniversary

IHP 50th anniversary

University of Leeds

50 years of International History and Politics

This academic year, 2019-2020, marks 50 years since the first International History and Politics students graduated. To celebrate this anniversary properly, the School of History is planning an exciting event for alumni and current students to come together and look back at the evolution of the course.

We have also launched a research project into how the course has developed over time and the experiences of former students. We will present this research at the celebration and also publish it on this webpage.

If you are an IHP alumni and you'd like to find out more about the event, or assist us with our research, please contact our student interns, Fiona Thornton and Lucy Slater.

"I love that IHP is so rooted in the recent past, my past two years of study have helped me massively to understand why the world is as it is today. The course helps to contextualise current affairs, and I feel I now have the background knowledge."
