Lecturer in Museum and Heritage Studies
Applications are invited for a part-time role as a Lecturer in Museum and Heritage Studies, based in the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies.

Do you have a research strength in the area of heritage, interpretation, participation and digital?
Are you passionate about delivering a fantastic learning experience for MA students?
As a Lecturer in Art Gallery, Museum and Heritage Studies, you will carry out research and teaching in varying aspects of museum and heritage studies and contribute to the effective management of the School, Faculty and wider University.
In particular you will teach on our MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies, MA in Arts Management and Heritage Studies and MA in Curating Science on our core modules Critical Issues and Interpretations. You will have expertise in Critical Heritage Studies, ideally with an interest in participation and digital heritage.
You will be developing a track record in high quality research outputs and in attracting funding to support your developing research agenda.
You will also be expected to undertake the normal range of duties that arises in connection with the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including lecturing, seminar delivery, dissertation supervision and assessment.
With relevant research and teaching experience and a PhD, you will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the dynamic research life of the School and you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience.
Post: Part-time (20% FTE; 1 day a week); fixed term to 14 November 2024
Salary: £34,304 to £40,927 p.a. pro rata (Grade 7)
