Visiting Artist's Talk - Carla Scott Fullerton

Carla Scott Fullerton (b.1980) lives and works in Glasgow where she completed her MFA in 2008.

Her work explores the materials and processes of sculpture and printmaking, with a particular focus on the relationships between forms and structures and between architecture and people. How these elements relate to each other have been the subject of her recent residency projects at Hospitalfields (Abroath, 2015), Sammlung Lenikus (Vienna, 2014) and Frans Masereel Centtrum (Kasterlee, 2014). Recent exhibitions include: Semi-gloss, Semi-permeable at Glasgow International (2016), If these walls had ears at Chert (Berlin, 2015), DOCU-PRESS 4 at Frans Masereel Centtrum (2014), Occupying Forms at Glasgow Print Studios (2013), Every Day at the Gallery of Modern Art (Glasgow, 2013) and You’re My Wife Now at Infernoesque Project Space (Berlin, 2013).
