Building from the Inside Out: Hong Kong's M + Museum for Visual Culture

Join us for the first in our spring research seminar series when we welcome speaker Pauline J. Yao, Lead Curator for Visual Art at M+ and Leverhulme Visiting Professor.

Encompassing visual art, design and architecture, and moving image, Hong Kong’s M+ is the first museum in Asia dedicated to visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first century.

A member of the curatorial team of M+ since 2012, Pauline J. Yao will discuss what is it like being part of shaping an institution from the inside out and will offer a behind-the-scenes look at M+’s architecture, collection and curatorial vision.
