Who/What is a 'Good/Bad' Migrant?

A discussion led by Gill Park (School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies) and Dr Sam Durrant (School of English) and chaired by Professor Adrian Favell (Sociology and Social Policy).

To complement our discussion of social science methodologies in November, we now turn to a discussion from the humanities. This second methodological discussion will focus on critical and alternate (i.e. discursive, visual) approaches to rethinking the question “Who/What is a ‘Good/Bad’ Migrant?”.

All welcome.

This event is part of the Leeds Migration Research Network/Sadler Seminar Series hosted by the Leeds Humanities Research Institute at the University of Leeds.  Further details about the Sadler Seminar Series can be found here.
