Screening at the Hyde Park Picture House

From the attentive gestures of an Aboriginal daughter nursing her dying adoptive mother, to the content moderators tasked with scrubbing photos of Osama bin Laden from search engines, this screening explores the politics and representation of cleaning and caring.

Programmed by Gill Park, doctoral researcher in the School of Fine Art History of Art & Cultural Studies and Amy Charlesworth, Lecturer in Art History at The Open University, in association with Pavilion and Leeds College of Art
