(hidden) ― MA Fine Art Degree Show 2022

藏 (hidden) is a show brought together by six MA Fine Art students graduating from the University of Leeds.

Inherent to each artist's work is a hidden something, either latent in nature or concealed by materials, conditions, processes or states of being.

Ominous landscapes, lost identities, overlooked spaces and covered symbols, the effects of colonisation and motherhood are threaded together by the map-like symbol of the Chinese character.

Within the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies each artist's work has its own space, with a further group show held in the Project Space.

In addition to these curated spaces, the visitor is invited to participate in locating a series of hidden individual works that occupy unusual places throughout the building.
