This event forms part of Hot with Excess: A Season of Contemporary Artists’ Opera, a special season of live events exploring the collision of contemporary art and opera.

The programme features Sam Belinfante, Beatrice Gibson, Trulee Hall, Richard Kennedy, Benjamin Orlow, Marijke de Roover and Alexandre Singh.
Organised in partnership with the Centre for Audio Visual Experimentation (CAVE) at the University of Leeds, this panel discussion offers a space to reflect and consider the contemporary context for Hot with Excess: A Season of Contemporary Artists’ Opera, exploring the numerous ways in which artists working today are engaging with the notion of opera.
