Molly Talbot

Profile

I am the weave technician within the School of Design, offering assistance in all weave-related activities: one-to-one training in Arm loom weaving, loom setup and maintenance, weaving research support, and weave-related teaching. 

I received a First Class degree in Textile Design from the University of Leeds with a woven textiles specialism. I am now a PhD student in fashion and textiles working part-time as the school’s weave technician.

Student education

I support weave studio teaching of first and final year fashion and textiles students. I also offer one-to-one weaving assistance for students and researchers in any textile-aligned disciplines.
