Profile
I am a PhD student at CLSR working on asexuality, aromanticism, and amatonormativity. I am also the organiser of the Aromanticism & Asexuality Research Network, an interdisciplinary network that brings together researchers across Europe working on aro/ace topics. Alongside my academic work, I am passionate about public engagement and regularly organise and contribute to events, media, and outreach projects on aro/ace topics. I am also the Website and Social Media Editor for the British Society of Aesthetics.
Before starting my PhD in 2025, I completed an MLitt in Philosophy at the St Andrews and Stirling Graduate Programme, where my thesis focused on asexuality and sexual orientation. I also hold an MSc in Public Relations and Communication Management from the University of Stirling and previously worked in civil service as a communications and gender equality officer. My undergraduate degree was in Philosophy and English Literature and Cultural Studies.
