A technology developed in the School of Design in collaboration with Stretchline UK has recently been shortlisted for ‘Best Product – Clothing Textiles‘ – showcasing the strength of Design and Technology interface of the School’s research activities. The winners of each category will be announced at the Future Textiles Awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday, 10th May 2017 at The Westin Grand Frankfurt, Germany.
The PI of the project, Dr Parik Goswami said ‘The School of Design continues to evolve in order to become a globally recognised leader in research and teaching in Design and Technology and specifically at the design/technology interface. This nomination is a direct result of the infrastructure that is created in the school to support interdisciplinary research’.
